Description
The associate degree in Speech and Language Pathology Assisting prepares students to assist Speech and Language Pathologists in treating disorders of communication. Graduates will possess the course work and field work experience for employment in both private and public agencies, such as hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and the public schools serving preschool through adult clients. The degree also qualifies a graduate to apply for registration with the California Speech-Language and Audiology Board.
