Description

In cooperation with industry, there are a number of apprenticeship programs that will prepare you for a skilled job as a carpenter, drywall/lather, electrician, ironworker, and sheet metal worker, as well several pre-apprentice programs that will prepare you for work in the green technology, infrastructure and utilities fields. The apprenticeship program training is from one to five years, that combines paid employment, on-the-job training and job related college instruction. The pre-apprentice programs usually take one year to complete.
