The program in Chemical Technology will train you for a wide variety of scientific laboratory technician careers. Emphasis is placed on theory and fundamentals of chemistry as well as hands-on training with lab equipment and state-of-the-art lab instrumentation. Students are given opportunities to develop effective written and verbal communications, and use correct mathematical calculations. Graduates may work in laboratories supporting manufacturing, agriculture, medical research, petrochemical industry or government agencies performing such work as environmental monitoring and pollution analysis, materials testing, medical testing or quality control.
