Description
Three certificates in Health Care IT are designed to quickly train students in computerized health information systems that are being installed by hospitals and medical and dental offices. These IT systems enable health care providers to better manage patient care through secure use and sharing of health information in electronic form. Students completing these certificates will support the IT systems that are in place in various health care related facilities. Each certificate has a different emphasis — either IT implementation support, IT on-going technical support, or IT training to employees using the IT systems.
