Description
The program prepares individuals for a career in the fire service which is a public safety profession that requires special knowledge of safety, rescue, emergency medical operations, and hazardous materials. Degrees and certificates are available for both new students and those who are currently employed within the fire service or with fire service agencies. Courses include those required for transfer to four-year colleges, those required to meeting eligibility requirement for employment such as a firefighter, and those required for incentive salary increases. Programs prepare student to successfully apply for fire service positions.
