Registration and Orientation for GED, HiSET Adult Basic Education (ABE) and Adult Secondary Education (ASE) is offered every Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Education & Technology Center (3308 Third Ave). For specific questions, please contact Max Villalva at (916) 456-1980 x 7641.

Description

Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services (SFBFS) offers Adult Basic Education (ABE) instruction in reading, writing and math for the student whose goal is to advance into a high school completion curriculum.
Students study during the daytime or evenings with talented and patient volunteer tutors. SFBFS staff administers an assessment at orientation to best determine a starting place for each student. Volunteer tutors work at the student's pace to help them achieve their goals. SFBFS helps prepare adult learners for the High School Equivalency tests, GED and HiSET.
SFBFS Adult Education offers daytime and evening instruction.
Limited childcare is available.
